Drawing on 20+ years of experience in the fashion and beauty industry, my approach to makeup is not one dimensional. Each face is a unique canvas and each situation, whether a once in a lifetime wedding day or a fashion editorial, is an opprtunity to create. Starting out in the industry as a model I learned how transformational makeup can be, with the power to not only make you look great on camera but to make you feel your most beautiful. I was drawn to makeup artistry for the ability to create but also to make someone feel special. As my experience in makeup artistry has grown, I felt the need for expert skin preparation before applying makeup. Ever willing to learn, I became a licensed Esthetician, incorporating my knowledge in the preparation for a flawless makeup.

I can’t thank Colleen enough for her incredible work. I have had some bad experiences in the past as a bridesmaid with make up and so I was rightfully a bit nervous for make up again. Well I can say have no fear for Colleen is a true professional !!! She uses only the best product, styled my hair to perfection based on the inspiration photos I provided, and truly made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. Her energy is calming and she is very kind. She truly is an artist! My bridesmaids and mother were extremely impressed and pleased with their looks- and trust me they’re hard to please! When looking at makeup artists for my wedding, I thought I would never find anyone who could satisfy the subtlety I was looking for, but then along came Colleen. I work on shoots all the time and so was extra critical when looking at portfolios. Colleen’s work is very editorial and natural. She came and did a makeup test on me and my sister and we were sold. The day of my wedding, Colleen was cool calm and collected as she took care to ensure that not only I looked great, but my sister and best friend as well. I would highly recommend her.

Colleen was a total professional—she listened carefully and was a huge help to me in figuring out exactly what I wanted to achieve for my wedding day look. Pictures of celebs online can be deceiving, and I’m not sure how I would’ve wound up looking without her to guide me to a perfect style for my hair and right amount of makeup. She was always very responsive, easy to work with, and did makeup and hair for my entire wedding party.
My only regret with Colleen is that we didn’t invite her to stay for the party! I highly recommend her. 🙂
